1. Discovery Conversation
We begin with a conversation about how you actually live in your home. This is where we talk through the frustrations of your current kitchen or bath and the vision you have for the new one. We discuss preliminary budgets and timelines so that we are aligned before a single pencil hits paper.
Your role: Sharing your must-haves, your lifestyle needs, and your investment comfort zone.
Our role: Listening, asking the hard questions about functionality, and outlining the roadmap for your specific project.
2. Design Direction & Material Selection
This is where the vision starts to feel real. We translate our conversations into a cohesive design language — choosing the textures, tones, and custom finishes that will define your space. We handle the technical drawings and specifications, ensuring every material is vetted for both quality and lead time before a single order is placed.
Your role: Sharing your honest feedback on aesthetics and signing off on the finalized design and budget.
Our role: Sourcing and presenting materials, creating detailed design plans, and coordinating all vendor procurement.
4. Construction & Management
Construction is where the preparation pays off. Because every detail has been specified and every material is on-site or tracked, the 'surprises' typical of remodeling are kept to a minimum. Michelle remains your point of contact throughout, conducting site visits to ensure the design intent is being executed perfectly and coordinating with the build team so you don't have to.
Your role: Trust the plan. Prepare your home for the work to begin and maintain open communication via our project management portal.
Our role: Designer-led oversight. We manage the design details, coordinate with trades, and ensure the craftsmanship meets our studio's standards.
5. Final Walkthrough & Reveal
The final moment is about more than checking boxes; it is about seeing the vision fully realized. We walk through every detail of your new space together to ensure every finish, fixture, and function meets the MH standard. This is where the dust settles and the life you imagined in these rooms begins.
Your role: Join Michelle for the final detailed walk-through of your completed home.
Our role: Ensure every punch-list item is addressed and hand over a space that is clean, functional, and ready for you to enjoy.
